I'm going to look at one of these on sunday. Any tips for a first time Skoda buyer?

Yes , I'd try and find an Elegance rather than the Ambiente.

It has the 110 bhp engine instead of the 90 as well as the extra toys , and if you are buying second hand (sounds like you might be) there isn't usually that much difference price wise.

I'm going to look at one for 2.5K - yeah I know must be dodgy as hell, but it would be foolish not to look!

Think it was an ex rep mobile. A couple of things didn't add up though so I'm not going to see it now.

Can't really see myself getting a nice Skoda any time soon now.
