Ran a tank full through with the Trip Ave MPG reset and it isn't too far out but a bit optimistic so I feel a slight VCDS tweak coming up.

Fuelly registered 37 MPG for the tankful and the on-board says I managed 38.6 MPG.

Had a good trip up to Doncaster and back, the BlackVue sensitivity needs adjusting - so did that this morning, recording too many Events on the trip.

I was appalled at the state of the SW bound carriageway of the A43, had to make a detour via Reading as there was stationary traffic on the A34 due to an accident at the A34/M4 junction, Columbus took me round it though.

Need to replace the stock suspension setup though not the most sporty or refined on the vRS and it has only done 14K Miles, also feels like it could do with a rear strut brace between the rear seat point mounts as the shell flexes a bit more than my old A3 3 door.

Still a very nice place to be though.

Yes, according to your calculations it's about 4.3% out. Not bad, but enough to warrant an adjustment.

One thing I would advise before you get the computer adjusted, is to reset the MPG computer every time you fill it up, and calculate the actual MPG you get from the tank. Do this half a dozen times and record the computer MPG and the calculated MPG, so you can get an average figure for the error. Also, when filling the tank, try to be as constant as you can with brimming it....ie make sure you always brim it to the same mark.

You'll then have a pretty accurate idea of the correction needed for the computer.

I let fuelly calculate my Ave per tank full - will do the same again the next time I fill up to get a feel for how much to tweak the MFC.

Thought 1st click of the gun was when you had a full tank, if you then carry on til the 2nd click then you've filled the expansion tank ??

It doesn't really matter though. As long as you do one or the other every time you fill, to ensure consistent results.
