monte front fog light popped out and has snapped backet :(

Featured Replies

hello everyone, ive been a numpty

so was on this activity weekend which involved going down a load of country lanes... i took a wrong turn and have to turn around on this single lane track...

the short and long of it is that i misjudged the turn and my front end hit the steep bank and my front foglight/drl unit popped out on the nearside and i believe the bracket on the inside of the shroud has snapped off :/ checked the rest of the bumper and it looks ok, scratched my splitter though :(

was asking to see if replacement shrouds are available, how much they are and how to fit it... if not then it looks like a typically costly trip to the garage :(

*awaits much abuse at lack of driving ability*

please be nice to me ;)

cheers

If you need a replacement foglight/drl housing then superskoda do them as a pair

ps i guess its a bit early to look for someone breaking a monte ;)

Would be worth trying some local breakers yards! im sure some one had stuffed a monte into a bush somewhere! (i have checked motorhog, no luck) but i wouldnt pay that much for them!

yeah i did have a look around but the issue is theyre not that common, down my way atleast, and no ones breaking them yet so far as i can see :/ all oif my scrap yards are fruitless too. called my dealer and have ordered a new one, good thing is that the dealer sell them individually so i dont have to get 2 new ones when i only need one
