Went to visit the family over Easter and stayed at a hotel popular with a fellow called Lenny. All went well until Monday morning when I went to put the bags in the car. I could not believe my eyes. There was a 6 inch circular dent in the roof above the rear nearside door. Worse still was that the roof edge had been dented compromising the door seal. When I went to reception they were most helpfull and when checking the CCTV found that the Laundry delivery driver had allowed a wheeled laundry container to run down a slight slope and fall over onto my car. He drove away without reporting the damage to reception or security.

Anyway the hotel put pressure on the Laundry crowd to contact me and own up which they have eventually done.Now I have to go through the time consuming process of obtaining quotes and then the dreaded repair itself. I am actually seriously peewee'd off as in my mind a perfectly good motor with 29k on the clock has been defiled by a moron who simply did not take due care.

And all I wanted was quiet weekend.

The wife's car was scratched the other week outside our daughter's kindy. Looks like someone put a bag on the roof then dragged it off to the side leaving two scratches. Just rude.

Just not called for.

Not even man enough to own up to it.

On the plus side at least there was CCTV and you don't have to pay out of your own pocket

he was probably scared he'd get sacked, at least you've got CCTV and are getting it sorted, a lot of people aren't that lucky.

Just make sure it goes into a good body shop and it should come out good as new.

Had the car repaired and the forked out the money.Luckily there is a good local guy who did a great job.At last,a happy ending.

You have beenn extremely lucky that CCTV has been found. Some-one jumped on the bonnet of my car last year ! - £150 for a bonnet the same colour in a breakers yard !!
