ESP / ABS Fault Warning

Featured Replies

As above really, has anyone had any experience of this?

Came on tonight on my way home whilst driving at about 30mph.

Car safe to use?

Any help is appreciated!

probably sensor fault

only thing to be aware of is if the warning light is on you have no ABS or ESP, just like the old days

Throwing the cat ampongst the pigeons, my mate had this in his M3.

He thought "sensor fault, just driven through standing water".

Result? £600+ Rear wheel bearing busted (warranty work luckily, as it had only been his for 4 days).

Just saying, it might be best to get it checked.

Thanks for the replies, it's gone in today for a new engine so we shall see what they say about that too.

Won't be keeping the car after all this, just can't trust it!

Those lights can be something as simple as a rear stop light failure. Usually, it's nothing worrying. There is a sticky on the Fabia 2 main forum page about these lights and what they could mean.
