PD170 Gearbox questions ?

Hello again i have a couple of questions after an ongoing dispute with the stealers.

I own a 2007 PD170 vrs, i have had it twelve months so far i have had quite a few problems but i absolutely love it when it's running o.k..

The Clutch and DMF had a problem from day 1 of ownership, which i flagged up on test drive and stealers fluffed over until it became a lot worse,

so the clutch and DMF were replaced ( after a stand off which i won ) but since then engageing 2nd gear in the morning can be quite obstructive ? Which i find odd after stealer said they have fitted new Clutch kit and DMF?

Why would this happen any ideas?

I have also heard several times a noise like an abrasive spinning noise ( very faint ) when coming to a stop or parking, again very strange? then it goes away.

Why any ideas?

I have exhausted all avenues with this one I phoned the stealers described what was happening they said sounds like gearbox trouble 2nd gear synchro or worse maybe a new box ! ? The car has only done 43000 FSH .The car is just out of extended warranty aswell.

I looked into gearbox failure as a worst case on a previous thread but link is broken. Have you heard of this ?

Can anyone in the know help with these issues please?
