I wonder if anyone can help me or offer any advice

I have a 2012 Diesel VRS estate with DSG

On the front passenger carpet, there is a large quantity of fliud / liquid.

It colourless / doesn't smell of anything, but has a oily / greasy feel to it, not water.

We haven't had any rain for a few days

I know I will have to pay a visit to the stealers, but that won't be until at least a week away.

I was just wondering if anyone had ant ideas and what to look for in the meantime or a way to prevent it.

It could be condensate from the air conditioning, the drain pipe for it could have become detached. If you leave the air conditioning on, do you have a puddle appear under the car?, if not, this could be the source of the fluid inside the car.

I did have the air con on today, the first time in ages (bit of warm weather).

Too dark to look under the car, will look at tomorrow.

Would the condensation be oily / greasy ?

If this is the case, I won't use the air con until it has been to the garage

Could someone just have spilled something?

Can you feel anything under the dash? If it's oily it shouldn't have evaporated and you might still be able to feel where it came from.
