The first 24 hours of ownership

Featured Replies

Just over 24 hours now since I badgered All Electric into getting me the car asap, the suspense was killing me. I traded in a 2004 Polo 1.9 TDI Sport. This car is just amazing! So big inside and airy! The drivers seat is just too adjustable, I thik I'm spoiled for choice with seating arrangements! Everything seems to work fine. The maxidot was easy after looking at posts on here. My samsung Galaxy S2 connected up no probs and the phonebook finally loaded. I think it's the first car I've had that was totally undersold. The salesman had no idea how much stuff was loaded onto this car. The mfsw is amazing, and when the car started talking to me today I thought i was going to wet myself with excitement.. although we struggled to understand each other a bit. The cruise control is great even around town and the navigation on the phone comes through on the stereo, you just can't play music at the same time so I won't be changing the Bolero now. even the luggage nets are great for in the boot, I have a large case for work which it secures easily. I know it's only 24 hours but I can't fault the car at all. The dsg is smooth and the car is quiet on decent road surfaces. The only thing I've got to get used to is £70 to fill up the tank and less consumption than the Polo, but thats fine. I actually feel relaxed driving a car... amazing!!! :sun:

Good news.Hope all goes well and enjoy the Octy :)
