Has anyone had problems with the front seats not moving forward again when they have been fully back?

(not the pumping up and down, just a question about being stuck at the back of the runners.)

Did it require new runners?

You would think its easy to get the seat moved, but it is not so easy.

& a MOT failure if the seat does move and then lock in place.

New seat runners ordered and being fitted under warranty.

 

So if any dealer tries messing about trying to get the seat moving,

tell them a fat bloke in Scotland got new ones.

New seat runners arrived and car went into have them fitted, but no use as a new seat base required, so now that is ordered.

Glad it is a warranty repair and not me paying.

 

Enough to drive me to eat some doughnuts,

well maybe best not, or i will end up needing to drive a Roomster.

 

I like the interior, seat & fit inside the new Octavia vRS,

sadly the centre box is a PITA for getting your seat belt buckled.

I wish VAG would not put that Plastic on cars with the honeycomb look but where it is just a solid filler, so 'Much cheapness'.

Im sure i had mine stick a few times but i managed to free them off with some extreme roughness

I also have a hatred for the tangerine peel vag interiors :(

Just Past its 3rd Birthday,

Got new Seat Base & runners, nice and comfortable, even though the old one seemed OK before it.

new tyres for the rest of the summer and yet another new Dark Chrome Gigaro. (4th one.)
