Broken sunvisor clip

Featured Replies

Afternoon all :)

Well yesterday i managed to break the clip that the sunvisor flap fits into!!! I was trying to find a rattle in the motor and rived the visor too hard and it snapped the wee plastic thing thats holds it in place!!!...dohhh!!! Cant seem to see how the unit comes off so i can see if i can fix or replace it....any ideas?

Cheers

Kit

If its the little clip that the visor can clip out of, then there's a little plastic cover to remove and under that a torx screw.

The cover will need to be levered off with a trim tool or similar to avoid damaging the plastic.

It's not always easy to get the cover off...

If its the one that actually holds the visor in place (the ones nearest the A-pillars) then undo the torx screw and pull down hard on the end nearest the back of the car. If it is this one, you'll probably need a replacement visor (which I have going spare with clips...).
