Ive bought an Alpine CDA-9855R, it arrived today, I fitted it and everything seemed fine (apart from lack of space behind for all the wires ) But when I come to turn the headunit back on, after the ignition is turned off and on, all my settings have been wiped. I know about switching the red power wire round which I have done but didn't make any difference :confused:

The standard radio came back on by itself aswell if it was left on when the ignition key was taken out- this new one doesnt.

Im confused Apologies if this has been posted before, I have searched but didnt find anything.

Any ideas?!

Got it sorted, after info given from AvRS and another forum :thumb:

For reference/searching- the yellow wire needed to be connected to a permenant live feed from the red wire. So they just needed unplugging and swapping round........
