Just gettin ready for Wednesday, so I thought would be good time to install the snooper.

Fairly straight forward inside the cab,display unit sit's quite nicely on top of the steering cowel -- good line of sight.

Running GPS aerial wire not too bad,along base of windscreen and then hidden down edge of A-Pillar trim.

Then comes the fun bit -- installing the Radar/Laser detector unit - this can be fitted inside the cab on the dash -- but I prefer to intall in engine bay -- here comes 1st problem, where to site unit ?

thats easy enough,just in front of radiator-middle of centre grille - no problem

But what about running the wire into the cab you ask ??

Bloody nigh on impossible if you ask me -- can't see anyway to get it in -- thought of going through bonnet release cable grommet and then resealing -- but can't get access - unable to remove black trim at bottom of windscreen --- anyone got any ideas -- going to have to be reasonable route - theres a 3.5mm jack plug to get through !!

I knew somebody on here would know how to do it. Look's like a job for when I'm in work -- then I can have the car on a ramp and just lean in, rather than crawl around under the dash.

By the way that look's like a fairly heavy duty install Q,didn't even know maplins did that sort of stuff -- learn something new every day.

Once system is installed and running (having trouble registering at the moment) - will post some piccies(or should that read try and post some piccies )
