Hi just picked up a second hand fabia off m uncle for uase a s a second car to out seat alhambra.

Just a couple of questions to start off with.

Best and cheapest place of new boot gas struts and also the black window trims at the top of the door and the bottom of the windows ?

What sort of mpg should I get out of it 1.4 mpi?

Will vag com fit it. Not looked for obd port

I was looking at boot gas struts recently, the cheapest place I found for mine was ebay.

 

Vag Com should work fine, if it's anything like mine the OBD port will be in a cubby hole under the steering wheel.

 

Best to ask again in the Fabia section for the rest and to make sure I'm not full of sh!te

Cheers found some. Can't believe the difference in price you can pay £35 each one place.

Any ideas about the black window strips.

Struts arrived and fitted only now the boot release handle is very stiff to open. Any ideas on how to remedy it?
