  1. Welcome to the forum. I thought the Superb was actually biggest in class for rear space.
  2. Could well be a loose baffle in one of the exhaust boxes.
  3. Thanks - which end of the HB cables did you disconnect?
  4. Welcome to the forum. How did you determine that the handbrake isn't causing the OSR brake to drag?
  5. @joeninho Have you had any resolution to this issue?
  6. Great work, but could you explain what you mean by engine 'canting'?
  7. @Stewart2 Did you manage to work out what happened to cause your vehicles unintended movement?
  8. @riby Did the dealer provide a second key FOC?
  9. Most of the proposals I've seen do ask if cover has been declined by others. I've only been declined once, that was for a vehicle that had been a previous constructive write-off with only cosmetic damage. Probably best to declare it.
  10. Welcome to the forum. Strongly suggest you 'pull the stick' more often until you get a sense of how much it's using - the TSI (EA888) engines, early ones particularly, can have a bit of a thirst for oil. A litre in 2K miles might be a bit high.
  11. Welcome to the forum. Does this intermittent fault appear immediately after refueling? Check the fuel cap sealing gasket.
  12. As E13 says above, engine is much better served if driven-off very soon after start - and driven reasonably gently until up to temperature. Coolant and oil will get up to operating temperature faster if this is done, bore-washing and wear will also be reduced.
  13. I consider it unrealistic to expect zero lube oil consumption in any engine, no matter what materials and tolerances are used. I suspect an analysis taken of oil from an engine reportedly using absolutely zero oil would reveal that the fluid drained was in fact not 100% lubricating oil.
  14. I'd consider 1 litre of lube oil consumed in more than 11K miles a very reasonable usage rate. Is this a diesel hybrid? How much did you get 'stung' for the oil - consider buying the correct grade from a reputable online seller, in 5 or more litre quantities for topping-up between oil changes.
  15. Side (or 'marker') lights aren't intended to 'light up' anything - they are a visual reference for oncoming traffic and pedestrians.
