Decided on the Superb - further help please new vs used and finance

Featured Replies

Hope you don't mind the new posting as I have decided on the Superb Estate but have a few more questions.

New Superb Greenline Elegance is 375 pm on 0% and free servcing offer. Total paid over 3 years with deposit £15500 optional final payment £8400.

Same car but with only 6k and 1 year old is £18k 7.4% apr and is £335 per month. Total paid with same deposit £14,060 optional final payment £6400

My initial thoughts  the used has dropped over 8k in one year and cheaper per month. New I am going to take this big hit myself.

For the cash buyer used looks a bargain. For the finance route that I need to take, the offers seem to almost balance out.

I think Skoda have been very clever with the 0%/free servicing offer as seems on paper for the extra per month to go new and also benefit from a new car with full warranty seems a no brainer.

Am I missing something here?

One new cars have you found any dealers offering discounts with the 0% offer? Carfile offering 4k off but don't think 0% is available.

Thanks again!
