Help needed regarding breathers under inlet

Featured Replies

Hi there , I've removed the plastic cover then the. metal plate that hold the breathers on my vrs 2004 , I've found that one of the pipes that go to the inlet to be oil contaminated and holed , the dipstick looks ok , also did I read on here that there's a couple of one way valves beneath the inlet that might need clearing out ??? The cars done 100,000 miles on the original breathers so I'm gonna clean and blow out all pipes breathers and clean turbo pipes and throttle body , my main question is what am I asking for when I call to order the parts , I also need the y shaped pipe to the right of cylinder no 4 and as mentioned one of the pipes that go to the bottom of the manifold which I'm thinking I should replace both , so if some one could help me with the names of these pipes or would tps know what I'm talking about as these are quite a common problem ?????? Also any more help on this topic would be great the fault was at about 3,000 rpm in top gear the car would hold back a bit feeling like the turbo was kicking in then back out when trying to keep at an average speed ??? Any other suggestions would be very help ful thanks . Marc
