Cruise Control Stalk - Is this correct?

Featured Replies

Hey,

Quality forum member trundlenut (Simon) confirmed my 56' vRS is suitable to take cruise without any change to the wiring etc, as well as doing some other cool VCDS changes :) (auto locking, no double press for unlock, seatbelt bong, both rear fogs etc) so happy days!

So I've discovered (I think) the part number for the cruise control stalk is:

1KO 953 513 G

Unless anyone else knows otherwise?

And I've found the following on fleabay:

And

What are people's opinions on these? Are they the right part for what I need? Thankfully trundlenut will help me fit and code so car is all happy, just want to make sure I buy the right part! I was expecting more like £60-£80 for the part so am pleasantly surprised if those above are correct.

Thanks for your help :)

They look like the correct part, but at that price they must be non VAG parts.

They will probably work fine, but if I was retrofitting cruise control I'd want to use the proper VAG stalk, and you're right......£80 is more like it for the genuine item.

This is a genuine one. sold by Rainworth Skoda.  Basically the same price as TPS plus P&P.
