New or used octavia estate?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I was hopin to get some advice - I have trawled through internet and showrooms and am just not sure what to do.  I would like to by an Octavia estate but don't know whether I should buy a new 2103 model or try and get a better deal on a used 2012 early 2013 model?  I think financially it would be easier to fo for the older 2012 model but I don't know how superior the 2013 is?  Also whilst I'm on I fancy the 1.6 TDI engine - any raeson why not?

Any opinions gratefully received - you will probably tell I am not really a 'car person' at least not technically. Thank you.  Elaine.

PS: I should add I don't normally spell so appallingly  -next time I'll check what I've written before I post!

A "new new" one will be a Mk3; a used one most likely a mk2, so why not get test drives and see which you prefer?
