I am looking to buy a set of spare wheels to fit Winter Tyres to. I have a set of 195/65/15's for my last car in the garage. I just want to check that I get the right fitment wheels, as I have seen a few different ones on eBay.

 

Is the fitting, for an Octy 2 55 Plate Elegance 2.0 TDi DSG Estate, 5 x 112?? Also would the tyres I have be OK size wise? The car currently has 16's on but I want something nice and thin on for winter and the tyres I have gave good grip on my previous car.

5x112 will be the PCD. Can't comment on whether 15s will fit.

Yeah, I'm wondering if 15's will clear the calipers on the front of a DSG Octavia.

 

The set I have seen are for sale locally so I should be able to put one on to see if it fits before buying.

My 4x4 has 15" inch wheels as standard and I think 288mm disks up front, so you should be alright.

15" should be fine for 2.0 tdi non vrs, as only vrs models need 16" to clear the brakes

Thats good to know. I wasn't sure as I know they tend to fit larger breaks to autos.
