Octavia 1 4x4 1.8T Front Sub frame bushes and ARB

Featured Replies

Had to change my steering rack again (longish story) so at the same time got the garage to change the sub frame bushes and fit an R32 ARB at the same time.

Went for the TT Bushes and new stretch bolts

Upper Mounting – 8N0199282C x2
Lower Mounting – 8N0199282D x2

Handling is greatly improved and no longer get a mild clunk at the pedals when dabbing the brake or accelerator but now have bad almost crashing noises over speed bumps. Have I now highlighted another area of the front suspension by firming other parts up or could there be an issue with the fitting?

What else should I be looking for?

Going to go back to the Garage (after taking a look underneath tomorrow) but just wonderd if there are other likely causes that I should be focusing on.

The car has done over 100,000 so not after perfection.

Thanks
