Citigo PID Countries?

Featured Replies

Hi - I collect my Citigo Sport on Friday, which comes with the PID.

I'm just wondering what countries the PID covers navigationwise....  Or if it's just UK and Ireland.  I go to France relatively often and am wondering whether I'll need to pay for european maps...

Thanks in advance

Joe

You can download European maps for free from Garmin Fresh. I did and they seem to allow you to navigate to all parts of Europe. I trialled a trip to The Camps Elysee.

It comes with Europe (40 ish) you can remove or keep as many as you like when you have it plugged in to your computer and fresh

You'll probably find that there is not enough memory to have the whole of Western Europe on the PiD

Just load the countries you actually need and you'll be fine.

Whilst on the subject of countries, how do you or even can you set the UK to default search when inputting a new destination? When I have done in the past I always have to scroll through the country list first to UK before entering the rest of the address.

I just return from a trip including maps for : Greece, Italy, Switzerland and France.

Works fine.

Anyone know how you default Uk when inputting a new destination, without having to scroll down starting at Albania to get to UK?
