Stereo fitting?

Featured Replies

Will the audience stereo from a mk2 fit in a mk1? Just looking at a picture and unsure as it looks curved but the slot is square....

I'm sure standard mk2 stereo's won't fit due to the mk2 having the canbus to the stereo

I swapped them with VW Golf switches/gauges/climate.  Yes, the stereo is a MP3 Symphony CD unit from a Mk 1 Superb. One of the first mods I did to my Octavia.

You know it says mp3 does that mean you can connect an mp3 player too it? just no obvious input other than for cds...

It only plays mp3 files from a CD but I have got my iPod connected in place of the CD changer in the boot.
