Nothing there to do with the PAS.

You have an issue with an ABS sensor and/or it's wiring.

Also your AC pressure switch is logging a fault, probably low on gas.

Fault code with the oil temp sensor is an odd one, you don't have it so I would think that's a coding issue.

Drivers side airbag igniter is either the airbag has been off with the ignition on or maybe the contact ring is faulty.

Pas light is on

Abs and Asr lights on.

Is there anywhere the wiring gives trouble as I have changed the sensor

Maybe you need to clean the Reluctor (I think that's what it's called) ring that the sensor looks at with a cotton bud dipped in methylated spirits.

If it's a front wheel, jack up, put on full lock, at the back of the hub unit you can see a shiny ring, rotate the wheel and apply the cotton bud and clean.

If it's a rear, there must be a ring there also, do as above.

It worked OK for me and cured the fault.

DB.

The ABS fault is open short circuit to positive so it's either unplugged or the wiring has an open circuit. A dirty sensor or faulty reluctor would give an implausible signal issue.

I expect that you have disturbed a multi-plug or earth to get so many unrelated codes.

Absolute torture.

Looks like a stripping session to find a broken wire. Do these give problems around the loom on the front chassis leg below the abs pump

  • Author

Found the wee bugger, corroded wire near the abs pump, where the wires leave the main loom to go to the abs unit. I'm much happier now, even though I spent all my spare time for a week to sort this out.
