why won't my Balero recognise my sd?

Featured Replies

Put a brand new sd in my phone to download music on for in the car, downloaded music maniac app which downloads mp3 songs to sd, when I plug it into my Balero it won't recognise it and just says loading please wait and nothing happens. Any ideas?

Was the card formatted to FAT16 first?

What capacity is the card?

Does that software put anything other than the MP3 file itself on the SD card?

Does the software encode the MP3 files in any way?

What phone are you using?

All you need on the SD card is the MP3 files, nothing else. I bet its the phone / software that is causing the lack of compatibility.

Do you have any MP3's you can copy straight on to the freshly formatted card to try?

Slow down the boyo! Lol not the best with this kind of thing so take it slow. Using a galaxy note 2 its an 8 gig sd not sure about weather or not it was formated? It was empty when I got it off a mate, just a few pics. I'll try it with a program from the laptop. Could it be the app? It does say it downloads in mp3

What size is it?

Some devices don't like the adaptor carriers only true SD cards
