SMF questions on vRS PD170

Hello all. Just recently put a helix updated clutch and single mass flywheel into my vRS. It's a low mileage kit from my friends old Leon PD140 running hybrid turbo etc doing 220+ hp.

I remember it being 'chattery' on idle in his car but mine sounds slightly louder and when driving you can still slightly hear it at lower revs which I'm told is normal under load. The other issue I've found is ther when you doing 70-80mph and you accelerate you can hear a loud droning kind of noise.

The kit was from Awesome GTI and I was told that they over filled the gearbox oil to quiet down the noise a bit? This sound normal to anyone and what are other peoples experiences with SMF's?
