Hi all I'm Dave 25 from Edinburgh and about to buy my first Skoda,

 

Should be picking up a 53plate Skoda Octavia Estate 1.9Tdi 130bhp Laurin & Klement tomorrow hopefully if all goes well!

 

This will be my first sensible car and first car I hope I will enjoy to want to keep it.

 

I do a bit of drifing at lochgelly Driftland in my BMW 328 (avator picture) reason for wanting an estate is to carry x amount of alloys to burn through on track !

 

Look forward to reading more about the car and rummage through the guides as welll as looking at members journals for some insperation.

Well picked up the car today and have to say it feels brilliant got into inverness and was already dark so never got a good light view but it looks immaculate and the interior so pretty happy!

No faults encountered on the 200mile drive home to Edinburgh. Pulled well no burning smells from oil or coolant. And no nasty knocks. Brakes feel a bit weak something ill look into
