I have a 06 tfsi mk2 vrs, i get a flutter sound from the dv? Car has a forge CAI fitted(filter behind bumper) is this normal? I know is normally compressor surge but just wanting to know if anyone has the same? Car has a piston type dv fitted according to the paperwork

Flutter or slight exhaust blowing noise?

Could be a small hairline crack in turbo/manifold.

Does it do it when letting off the gas?

Dont think its exhaust blowing car drives perfect just more of a flutter sounds rather than a wooshhhh?

I know that mine is a diesel but I have noticed that if I'm giving it some (not full throttle) when I change gear it sometimes makes a noise like a dump valve but quieter. Its still fairly obvious and there seems to be no common factor as to why it does it.

Thinking about it does the 'flutter' sound anything like this?
