This might seem a silly question but how is the stock number plate fixed to the holder?

and how easy will it be to remove my old plates as my cherished plates are ready to go on.

I don't see any screws through the plates does this mean i'm ok to pry off my old plates from the holder?

I'd say so but do it carefully as the sticky pads that hold the plates on are very strong and you don't want to snap the number plate holder whilst trying to remove the number plate.
