Peculiar happenings

Featured Replies

I have just bought, fitted & coded some 5000k hids from London colour. They work perfectly with no warnings or problems. However, I have just been out in the car, and noticed that the clock had stopped! Yes its a digital clock, and it is duplicated on the screen of the stereo. The display on the non maxidot dash was still showing the clock but it was not advancing with the time, whereas the time on the stereo was correct. I re set the time, and all is well once again, but should I be worried?

Yes you should, unplug battery to reset everything then put in time.

If it happens again should take hid off and test with normal halogen bulbs

It has been as good as gold since I did the reset. I will however keep monitoring it. Cheers Alberg.
