Hi folks. Just ordered the new Octavia vRS hatchback.

 

Filled out the paperwork and put my deposit down. However, I'm wondering exactly how the finance works. I've obviously already agreed a deposit and am aware of the monthly repayments, etc but given that I cant take delivery of the car til January, I'm wondering when I am approved for finance? Was it when I paid the deposit / order fee (and therefore pre-approved)...or when I go to take delivery of the car in 3 months time?  I'm buying via Skoda PCP Finance.

 

 

Plenty of time to peruse these forums over the next 12 weeks til the car arrives ...

quite simple - you dont start paying till you have the car, well here in uk it is the case, I notice your location is Ireland, the rules may be different there so maybe someone from Ireland may be able to confirm my response or advise accordingly, otherwise a quick call back to the dealer should be able to answer your question.
