I've just received my winter wheels, some used Audi alloys with 145mm centre caps. I'm going to have them powder coated gloss black and am a bit stuck with what to do with the silver centre caps. Paint them and add a skoda sticker, or are there any skoda branded caps that will fit?

the caps from Vega alloys are probably too large at 158mm.  Got a piccy of the alloys?

Can they powder coat the centre caps, im sure a wheel refurb shop will have come across having to refurb the centre caps to match clients wheels.

They're probably plastic.

Here is a pic of the wheel and the center caps, which are made of plastic.

Get some Skoda domed badges from eBay for about £3 and stick them over the Audi ones?  Reversible if you ever want to sell the wheels.  The domed badges are usually slightly dished on the reverse, so will fit over already-domed badges.  Just get the right size.

The wheels are different but the caps look the same as mine. One issue is that the Audi logo is slightly raised which could make sticking something over it tricky.

Mine were off a 51 plate A4. Haven't got the caps yet, they cost just under £10 each from TPS. The vega caps have a locating lug on the back which would need to be cut off to make them fit properly. I have the part number somewhere, I'll dig it out later. I am hoping to buy some soon, going to put the wheels on tomorrow though.

I borrowed a cap off a car at a dealer just to see how it would fit and took that picture.

The domed ones I have would fit over the Audi logo.  They're quite hollow at the back.

OK better idea, plasti dip them black and use the glossifier to make them match the gloss powdercoat on the alloys

Stuck my winter wheels today and I measured the Audi logo - its 60mm wide, doh!
