My accelerator pedal has snapped at the bottom hinge making it interesting to drive, can anyone suggest where i can find out how to replace this?

TPS or a dealer. Think they're about £30 and then you need to reset the basic settings via VCDS so it works properly. Its sets the 0-100% values you see.

When I changed to VRS pedals I didn´t do anything, should have I???

Technically yes, you may have missed out on a small percentage of throttle. Everything is supposed yo be manufactured the same, but manufacturers have tolerances, hence the basic settings needed.
