Noisy heater fan

Featured Replies

Well it was for 24 hours. Clicking noise that increased with the fan speed.

Got a great deal worse this morning and was starting to think £££££'s when as sudden as it started, it mysteriously stopped!

What was THAT all about then, but more to the point, is it going to return?

Is there a known common fault that I'm blissfully unaware of?

Possibly a leave or something that got past the cabin filter and brushed the fan until it wore away???

Cheers for that MM, and that did actually cross my mind. Just wonder how it got in there IF that's what it is/was, and also was a tad concerned that this may be an expensive dashboard out fix if it's a common fault.

So far it's looking like 'leaf ingress'.
