stange radio problem?

Featured Replies

hey all

have tried to search the forum but have had no luck have got a alpine 123r headunit have had it a while (12 month's) did the swap of wires  with regards to the issue with radio preset and settings etc and have had no issues. but coming back from work went to start up turned radio on and went straight to radio and had lost all its preset's and settings bearing in mind it would normally go onto usb first. its almost when you go and take the battery off and leave for a while and put back on and you lose headunit settings. so was wondering if anyone might be clued up to this ??

thanks all

Do the lights dim when the car starts? Could be a sign of impending problem caused by a high resistance connection. Check near large fuses in the battery box for overheating of the adjacent plastic parts. Are the battery connections tight?
