My Fabia Monte Carlo

Just had Rimringz fitted (I am a driving instructor) to protect those lovely dark alloys.

How much are they if you don't mind me asking? Are they easily sourced and do they have different colours, I might need some if SWMBO wants to drive!

I paid about £56 for a set of 4 and it cost me £10 cash into the tyre fitters back pocket to help me fit them. Easy to do, about 5-10 minutes per wheel.

Good idea, especially with really low profile tyres fitted on painted alloys but not sure about the colour you've picked.

I wasn't sure when they first went on, but remember, I am a driving instructor, so the colour is to catch the eye of potential pupils. ;)

Suppose so, never thought of that.

Not a bad car to learn in, my learner car was a Mk3 Escort 27 years ago, certainly didn't look as good as a Monte!

I learnt in a 3 series.... Sounds good but the car is too 'forgiving' and the car did a lot for you. Would certainly prefer a monte

Just spanked an alloy today. Not happy. After I notice another had a scrape, I think from trying to be clever on a speed pyramid near me and actually sliding sideways down it. My otherwise pristine Monte now has two scuffed alloys within a few weeks of each other...
