Skoda Fabia 2006 1.9SDI

 

After replacing my right rear door lock, now same problem with the left one.

According to my Skoda dealer, the proper serial numbers of the said part are:

5J0839015

6Y0839015

6Y0839015A

 

However on an online ETKA service it states also 3B4839015.

 

How can I be sure that also 3B4839015 serial number will fit my Fabia?

it's possibly year dependent as there was a small modification the the rear door locks I believe. Older ones had a white catch for the locking rod (from the button on the door) while later variants had a red catch and the fitment was slightly different I believe.

 

Your dealer will have used your reg/ VIN to identify the correct Part number.
