Whats the best fitting double din surround out there? Is there a genuine Skoda one?

It's just a strip piece for the top below the switches. There about 3-3.50 from your local skoda main dealer

I ordered one and it was over £6.

Not sure when you got that price but they are over £6 currently.

They were actually that price last year, came across the same prices when I was look through older threads on here

Similar to how people picked up LCR splitters for under £20 a few years back, they saw the demand and put them up, what is it, about £40+ now

The one in the link looks like a single din fascia adapter :s

I bought a Cupra Splitter 4 years ago for £22 odd.

Thats all you need isn't it? Whip the tray out and The facia with the headunit does the rest.

When you put a double din head unit in the Fabia, it fills the gap perfectly and sticks out just the right amount so you don't need a proper surround for the head unit, which goes all the way around it. The only gap will be at the top so that's where this £6 bit of trim goes

You will need more for a single din I believe, unless you have one that is the same size as the Symphony stereo, which is unluckily as single dins are smaller
