501 LED's

Featured Replies

Having purchased some 501 LED's from eBay to replace the sidelight bulbs and installed them, they don't seem to give off much light, anyone recommend any replacement LED's ?

ive found ebay to be very very hit and miss with leds. Ive purchased many . But in the end they all brake

As tackie and cheap as it sounds. ive found halfords to sell the best leds. And still have to same set I bought 2 years ago.

I will be honest ive had a set of sidelights for over 2 years. They are like 30led side lights. Been in my ibiza and my astra, started flickering, rusted and then stoped flickering and are fine. They are insanely bright too. Its pot luck with them. If I ever buy ebay 501s I always buy a pack of ten or so. Can never be too sure! But they are cheaper than chips!

Buy the xenon online ones from eBay they're good!

Ah I went for as white as possible to match the Xenons, plus number plate ones.

Cant see them that but they match the white lights

The best 501 led bulbs for giving off light are the eagle eye type. They have a wide angle lens on them.

Personally I've found the ones supplied by hids4u are the best. Cost a little more but always seem to be top quality.

I purchased some number plate LED's off eBay, worked fine but then started flickering after 2 weeks of light use (2 hours of actual usage over 14 days at most)

Put the standard bulbs back in :wall:

I did exactly the same, turns out I brought 36mm bulbs instead of 38mm bulbs.
