We've just bought a new car for my wife and we've done a deal to part-ex the mini. As the new car is a ford direct that's still in a compound somewhere (we won't get it for another couple of weeks yet) i have a short window to see if anyone on briskoda wants to buy it first?

Happy to take anything more than the dealer has offered really, but I suppose it needs to be a couple of hundred quid over or its not worth doing.

Whatcar.com valuation has this car at £6,320 (dealer price) and £5,985 (Private price).

If anyone on here wants it i'd take £4,750 for a quick sale, no silly offers please.

Mot is due end of Jan and it's due a service soon, plus the front tyres are going to need changing soon (still legal but just trying to be completely open here). I've taken those things in to consideration when pricing. If you do a search on autotrader for sub 70k mile 2007 coopers with chili pack the cheapest one (other than mine!) on there is £5.5k.

Looks like a very decently priced Mini that, but do I detect a slight difference in the colour of the rear 1/4 panel against the door?

Why not be brave and give it a new MOT. You will struggle to sell it with what is now less than a month left. People will rightfully wonder why.

Yep, might do that next week.

The colour is spot on, no difference - its just down to the quality of the camera
