Parrot kit

Featured Replies

This year for Christmas, I got a CK3000 evolution (I've been a good boy)

I've just been looking at the connector leads and wondering about which adaptor leads I'm gonna need, when I pulled out my old symphony head unit (I replaced with a better condition one as the screen is covered in ink) and I found that it just seems to be plug and play :D Very good news indeed.

There's only one thing that concerns me though and that is about mute leads 1, 2 and 3.  There seems to only be one connector for these 3 coming off the other loom, so I guess only one of them needs connecting, but which is it?

Only one mute wire is needed. I usually connect one after the other till it mutes the radio when you are on a call, easiest way to get the right wire.

So trial and error should be ok? Also, is it best to mount the bluebox somewhere with self tap screws or will duct tape suffice?

Parrot kit. Parrot kit.

Helpful :P I've had a little look on youtube of people installing them and some people just chuck the lot behind the dash.  I plan to keep it fairly tidy though.  Won't be installing it til sometime in the new year though as I'm going away tomorrow morning and not back til January 4th.

Yeah, trial and error will be fine. You can tuck the wires up behind the radio but put the blue box behind the glove box.

If you feel at the back at the top once the radio is out there is like a shelf that goes all the way to the heated rear screen and traction button. Mine has sat there nicely for a while now.
