hi everyone...joe here from limerick....

have had a few skodas over the years and then i traded for a subaru 1.6... have had a few subarus since and one car i always wanted was a skoda pickup...everytime one came up i was either too late or it was a bucket.... anyway i came across one last week and have to say from the pics advertised in ad i was dreading goin for a look....but as it was only a half hour drive away i said i would go for a look anyway.....  pics did not do it justice....  to make a long story short i purchased it and just said i would join up for a look....  look forward to working on this project and hopefully i can be some help to lads on here...

cars i have at moment are 97 impreza turbo running vf35 turbo with simtek ecu, anti lag launch control front mount intercooler, also have series 2 legacy estate and 97 mr2 t bar,

will post a few pics of the cars i have in a bit.......

Hi Joe I recently got into the pick up craze myself I bought the vw caddy pickup no difference only the badge and love it got mine in the north so had a bit of tidying up to do rust wise, but 1100 quid later she's like new one problem with them is windscreen seal can let in water the footwells in my one would be soaked after rain I'm looking for foglight bezels foor my front bumper if you come know any where round you that might have a felicia for breaking they don't make them any more.

cheers O.C.D

Yeah got the two foglights for 40 quid with no surround rang main dealer and told me yeah could get them 6 quid for the pair then got a call 2 days later saying there no more in stock and that they could not get them anymore so been trying some scrapyards but no joy, have you ever fitted a rev counter to non rev counter want to stick one in mine don't like that big clock

  • Author

havent done that now being honest......  you could get a rev counter clock that mounts on the dash... i know lads with civics use these....  or you could get a second hand set clocks from a felicia with the rev clock...the glxi model have the rev counter instead of the clock

Yeah I've been told clocks from diesel felicia should do with out too much work depending on the wiring in my one so back to the breakers yard.....again.

Hey Joe i've stuck some new photo's up of my pickup got a price from breakers in uk for replacement bezels talking £28 incl. p+p bit steep considering main dealer price was under 7 euro for the two.
