Hello to everyone on this forum!

I only came across this forum literally last Sunday (22/12/2013), it assisted me with speeding up my new purchase.

I had been looking at either getting a Ford Focus ST 2 or the Octavia vRS, wasn't completely happy with the road tax band the Ford was in, as it's only one down from my current car.

After finding this forum on Google, the first post I read was regarding Skoda scrapping the 0% PCP and 3 years free servicing, as I was off for Christmas we went to a dealer on that day to book a test drive, the dealer wasn't particularly interested at first, I booked a test drive anyway for the end of the next week.

When we got home my Dad said what about any other dealers as he wasn't impressed either, so we contacted a different dealer who were a lot better, I had a test drive on Christmas Eve, liked the car and ordered one.

I ordered an Octavia vRS Hatch, looking forward to May/June for its arrival.

So thanks to this forum.

    My dad rang them and said we weren't coming, the sales guy wasn't available to speak to, my Dad just said we had made other arrangements.
