Just had the Rapid remapped 03-01-2014.

So far it's a dream to drive.

Original: 109BHP and 252NM.

After remap: 145BHP and 310NM.

Besides the remap i had the EGR system "disabled", which means it's been tuned down to only 1-2% or so of the exhaust gas recirculated. This had the engine sound totally different when starting from cold and run A LOT smoother from cold. It heats up 30-45 seconds slower than normal on my initial tests, which is really positive.

Oh and you can follow the economy change via fuelly in my signature. So far i've had a heavy foot, so i don't expect it to be better yet...

I'll report back it something should happen.

I'm from Denmark. Car is remapped through:

Oh right, do they do the 1 2 TSI 105?

Anything with turbos and compressors can be remapped for better performance. on the gas powered cars it's just not so significantly an increase in power as the diesel engines.

The 1.2 remaps to roughly 130bhp and 220nm.

For anyone interested.

-2 celcius this morning. 0-90 degrees oil temp took 12 km or 8 mins drive from my house. I don't have a comparisson rapid with EGR enabled but i do think it's pretty good.
