Superb final service

My Superb is in the dealers just now for its final service with me before the lease ends in April.

56k miles and apart from a fault with engine management warning light (replaced under warranty) and routine servicing it hasn't missed a beat.

Overall mix of space, comfort, economy, poke when needed ...and did I mention space? Make this the best car I have had since passing my driving test in mid 70s.

Will be sorry to see it go but with two kids now at uni need to downsize to help fund next generation education.

Hello, I'm after some advice. Any alternatives to rivets? Window regulator repair in progress. The metal plate holding window regulator is riveted on to door. There are X10 7mm holes for metal plate/regulator to door attachment and X4 4mm holes for speakers. Rather than riveting are there any other options? I've seen rivnuts. However a size guide said a 5mm hole needs M3 rivnut not seen any smaller sizes like for 4mm diameter hole. I could probably put speaker on new metal plate with access to

Struggling to find anywhere exactly what oil type my engine should be using. The owner manual says "ask a specialist garage for the correct engine oil", which is bizarre - can't the manufacturer of the vehicle just tell me! On a previous with a dealer, they put in "Edge Prof LL IV 0W-20". I've just had a service via the RAC today, and they gave me the remaining oil in the tub, and I've just noticed it's "0W-30" and also says "VW 504.00/507.00" specification. I think this is the right place; On the rear camera view, when you start to get close to objects, you get a plan of the car slides on the left with the colour-changing bar indicators around. It’s sometimes transparent which is fine as I can still see through it. But it mostly appears with an opaque black background and as the screen doesn’t shift to accommodate it, it covers up the rear left corner of the car. Is there any way to turn this off? Or keep the transparent version consistent?

Hi all, I noticed a few forums posted over a decade ago, but unfortunately didn't seem to relate. I've got an issue where the cd auto changer had a fault. I pressed the eject button which spat the magazine out. I checked over the cds and everything seemed fine. After reseating the mag, the stereo no longer recognises the magazine, and says "no magazine". Since then I've tried to eject the mag, but had no luck. Has anyone had any issues with this? I removed the autochanger in the idea of fitt
