The Fabia needs to go to pastures new as SWMBO has bought a Mazda 5.

AC not working, but I have looked at the system with VCDS and the compressor seems to still be working as the system pressure does increase when it's switched on. A regas might fix it but I can't guarantee that.

Interior blower switch is stuck in position 2. I replaced the fan resistor back in the summer as previously positions 1 and 2 didn't work, but now the switch is stuck.

MOT was done in December, advisories for corrosion on the brakes and a worn tyre. I've since replaced the tyre.

If I was keeping it, I'd want to do the track rod ends as there is wear in them but not picked up in the MOT.

Central locking, especially the drivers door, can be a little erratic.

Needs a service.

At the moment it's going in part ex for the Mazda which we are picking up on Friday 21st Feb. I know it's short notice but if I can get a decent price for it, I'd rather it went to a forum member than get auctioned into the trade.

Looking for - I don't know really - but say £1200ono? No timewasters please - serious buyers intending to buy quickly only please.

Good little car for a youngster?

Will be closing the advert on Thursday 20th Feb.

Hi,

I'm really sorry I haven't got round to putting any pictures up. I've had an awful week. :-(

In the end we part-exchanged it. If anyone wants it, it's at Tyne Mills Mazda in Hexham, Northumberland. We got £500 for it, so don't go paying any more for it than that!!!

thanks

£500! That's mental! Way too cheap mate.

well, they played the "we'll give you 800, but reduce our car by 300 and actually give you 500" trick.

I only ever look at cost to change anyway.
