hi all. new member here. my names Ad from the west midlands. brought me a mk1 vrs last September as a cheap run around after taking the brother in laws vrs out for a spin. (he only just purchased it) but gotta be honest I love the car. its a black 53 plate (04 registered) with 118k on the clock and still runs fine. fine it alot cheaper to run than the family 57reg astra 1.8 vvt sri xp. even the missus likes it. mot into boy racing anymore. but looking into maybe a remap. nothing silly. maybe around the 160 mark as the torque will kill the clutch etc. my old toy was a mk5 fiesta zetec s which I spent a fortune on and want this car just be a car to drive and remain reliable. hope to meet some of you guys in local meets :-)
