Octavia vRS Estate Mods

Featured Replies

Thinking ahead but I'll want to remap the CR I'll be eventually getting, lowering it and probably adding a RARB and maybe a few other bits that people could suggest.

I'll be getting a map with Shark so presumably there's Brisky discount? What lowering springs and RARB should I go for? Eibach's and H&R? Where's best to get them from and I can fit them myself.

Thanks in advance

Martyn.

I've got a Whiteline RARB on mine which has been fit and forget.

It is set on Medium which has canceled out the understeer without making it too twitchy at the rear.

i have a shark remap on my estate with a whiteline roll bar. was thinkin of droppin it too but the roll bar makes that much of a difference i might just leave it be and have a smoother ride. next mod is the auto boot lifter which is just basicly a couple of springs. just need to get round to ordering them. any pics of ya motor mate?

Don't have one yet but seeing one the weekend so fingers crossed it's as described and we can do a deal. May do one mod a month so that way I can save back up again plus it means I have one month of it being stock, then I can appreciate each mod as I do it.

i also went from a fabia vrs. what colour have you been looking at?

Any apart from black. Buying on condition and decent mileage with some options rather than colour

New badges. Does anyone have part numbers for the new style badges that will fit?

  • 4 weeks later...

1ST 853 601A AUL - FRONT

1ST 853 630 AUL - REAR

They are the new style black badges on my Octavia MK II VRS

AKS were running a group buy on H&R stuff if you were't aware.  IIRC the rARB is only 170 quid or thereabouts.

For your suspension mods, best to save up and do these all in one go incl geo setup afterwards.
