Hi Guys,

 

I am looking to uprate my shock absorbers to Bilstein B8's as my standard shock absorbers are leaking (my car is lowered on H&R -50mm springs).

 

How can I find the information regarding my front strut clamp diameter? Apparently there are different sizes and I want to ensure I order the correct ones.

55mm struts on the vrs mate. 50mm on smaller engined vag cars. P.s check your personal messages !

Get a disposable orange plastic vernier caliper for £1 from Tesco and measure strut.

55mm on 1.8tsi & a few of the diesels too
