What is the best method to prime a new turbocharger?

Obviously we don't want then engine to fire up so I was thinking disconnecting the fuel pump relay! Where is the relay exactly?

Any other methods?

Simplest is to pour some oil into oil feed onto the bearing before turbo goes in the car and then rotate the turbine gently. So long as you do not press full throttle on start-up, it's more than enough oil to prevent damage.

Remove intake pipe to compressor, hold the compressor wheel stationary with your fingers whilst the engine is started. Run engine at idle for 30 secs holding wheel - then re-assemble.
