Finally got round to changing my manifold gasket today (was blowing on cylinder 3) sounded like a nail..! Lol

 

Not that bad a job really, fee bolts a little tricky but all in all worth the hastle.. 

Also changed my turbo to manifold gasket AGAIN!! 

Because it had blown out around the front single bolt hole.. this was new only a few weeks back.. the 17mm keeps coming loose... 

 

How can I bang this on tight enough to stop this happening blokes?? Any tips?

 

There isn't enough room to fit a tidy socket and ratchet so either a 3/8 ratchet (which you can't get enough purchase on) or a spanner (which again doesn't seem to allow for enough oomph)

Tried that last time mate.. I suppose the extreme heat generated in that area just gets rid of it... :-/
